Are you longing for a day where you wake up feeling peaceful and confident about your life?
Would you feel better about yourself if you knew that you could handle any challenge that comes your way?
Have you ever thought, "I would LOVE to get support for my stress & overwhelm but I don't know where to start, if I can afford it or whether it will actually give me the results I desire?"
Do you sense that your animal is healing, but feel weird for saying how important they are for you?
If you found yourself nodding, "YES!" to the questions above....you are NOT alone.
There are thousands of pet parents who are struggling to find the right combination of coping tools and support that will help them manage stress AND feel better in their daily lives. In Paws 4 Healing you are going to learn how the love and care you feel for your fur baby is the key to reducing the physical sensations of stress & anxiety and increasing your ability to bounce back from any challenge life throws at you.
Paws4Healing is a first of it's kind program for individuals who have an emotional support animal (with or without paws; ALL are welcome!), are desiring to learn healthy ways to cope with stress, all while deepening their connection to their animal and other humans.
After hearing over and over again in her ESA/PSD evaluations that, "My animal is my therapist!" Paws4healing creator Jennifer Bronsnick realized there was a need for people to learn coping tools that were rooted in the feelings of love and care they have for their animals. Paws 4 Healing includes four core components to ensure that all participants get the knowledge and support they need in order to feel more confident in their ability to cope with stress and to start THRIVING!
Paws 4 Healing was designed with long-term healing and resilience in mind. Participants will not only get to learn new information from a mental health expert about how their relationship with their animal is actually scientifically proven to be healing, but they will practice these new skills with other animal lovers who also live busy and stressful lives.
During the program there are 3 core coping strategies that you will be learning. The 1st evidence based tool is Heartmath, which has over 25 years of research behind it validating how the feelings of love and care you have for your animal can have a significant impact on your stress level, resiliency and overall health. In addition to Heartmath you will learn how to use EFT/Tapping to calm down an overwhelming emotion AND lifestyle hacks that will heal your mind & your body.
Learning and connecting with others is wonderful and can be healing on its own. However when we can actually implement and practice all the coping strategies and mindset shifts we have learned that is when our lives really start to improve. Just like building our physical muscles it takes practice and repetition to strengthen our mental & emotional muscles.
Animals are wonderful AND we all need to feel connected to other humans who share similar interests and we feel safe to be ourselves around. As a Paws4Healing community member you will have the opportunity to connect with other pet parents to make friends and a community where you are accepted just as you are. In Paws 4 Healing our mission is to create a space where you will safe to be your most authentic self.
As a licensed clinical social worker, Certified Heartmath Trainer and animal lover, Jennifer Bronsnick, MSW, LCSW is uniquely qualified to guide and support people in healing from the symptoms of stress and anxiety by teaching them evidenced-based coping strategies; including how to harness the healing power of the love they have for their animal.
Paws 4 Healing is a group program that starts the week of January 3, 2023 and includes 4 sessions.
There are two Zoom times that you can choose from. Tuesday's at 7pm or Thursday's at 12pm EST. You must pick ONE group to stay with the entire 4-sessions.
Each call will last about 1 hour (maybe longer if you are chatting with other members) and will be divided into short lessons to learn coping strategies, group practice/implementation of strategies, small group discussion and intention setting.
Prior to participating on the zoom you will need to sign a consent form agreeing that this is NOT group therapy and Jennifer Bronsnick will not be your therapist. You will also have to agree to maintain the confidentiality of the group and to never use hate speech or other negative language towards other members.
There is zero tolerance for these behaviors and if it happens you will be removed from the group and you will NOT get your money back.
